I was born in 1970 in Whitehorse, YT in the northwest region of Canada. I moved from there when I was very young, spending most of the 70’s living in Kamloops, BC, Canada. Since 1979, I have resided in and around the Vancouver area. I have always been intrigued by geological land formations, mountains, rivers, oceans, weather and geography in general. Canada offers a wide range of diverse landscapes and weather patterns: From beautiful oceans to epic mountains. From pristine lakes and waterfalls to vast prairie expanses. Combine that with the wide array of weather conditions witnessed in this country and one is presented with a huge photography playground within which to play.

Since finding photography, I’ve strived to capture all the beauty this great country, and anywhere else I may travel, has to offer. Working as an educator, I’m afforded a good deal of time off to travel and explore. It is my hope that in the next few years I will be able to transition from a career in education to one that involves photography on a more full time basis. I invite you to share in my travel and exploration through these pages and witness the beauty I encounter along the way. Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.
